Approach

How we teach.

Three principles run through every session — every Key Stage, every learner.

Curriculum-aligned

Curriculum-aligned, learner-led.

Every session is built around the NI curriculum at the child's current Key Stage — so the work in our room reinforces, rather than replaces, the work at school. Within that, we adapt: pace, examples, questioning, breaks.

The curriculum sets the destination; the learner sets the route.

Specialist support

Specialists in SEN, Emotionally Based School Non-Attendance and Safeguarding.

Both founders have spent more than a decade in senior leadership roles for Pastoral Care, Safeguarding & Child Protection, and Special Educational Needs. EBSNA-experienced families know how unusual that combination is outside school.

Our experience informs how we adapt to every learner who walks in.

The space

A low-demand, sensory-friendly space to learn.

Our Holywood premises are designed for calm. Small group sizes. Low demand, relaxed spaces. Glass-panelled internal doors and cloud-recorded CCTV give every parent and learner the safeguarding-by-design we'd want for our own children.

A session feels nothing like an over-stimulating classroom.
